International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

ISO standards are internationally agreed upon guidelines and specifications developed by experts to ensure products, services, and systems are safe, reliable, and good quality. While we are not external assessors for ISO certifications, we act as your advisor and implementor of controls.

This allows you the ability to provide oversight without spending hours writing manuals, documenting controls, remediating gaps, and preparing details for your external assessors. We act as your coordinator during external assessment, which includes providing audit coaching to internal employees and working directly with the external assessor to provide evidence, discuss gaps, and find the path of least resistance to remediation. 

 

While there are hundreds of ISO certifications, there are a few that have become more relevant to organizations handling sensitive and proprietary data:

• ISO 27001 - information security management 

• ISO 27701 - data privacy management 

• ISO 22301 - business continuity management 

• ISO 42001 - AI governance management 

• ISO 9001 - general quality management
